Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Face Of A Child

Respected Doctor, My Son is 8 years old, he has a very tiny group of lump like growth on the face just bellow his eyes, We consulted a Doctor, he has prescribed Retino-A 0.05% cream and Folinz tablets. We are not sure whether this would be the right remedy, Please help. Thanks Muthazhagan. K

Hi,

It could be a Chalzion arising from lower eyelid. It is a benign (non cancerous) lesion arising from tear gland. As of continue present line of management. If the size increases, it has to be removed surgically.
