i have pimples on my labia and lumps at the side of my groin. i went to the clinic and they only collected a swab test and pregnancy. they said my results were normal but i think i could have herpes, is herpes tested through vaginal swabs or blood tests? thank you for your time

Hi healthcare magic user,
if I would have been your doctor I would have done blood test called serum IGG, and IgM for herpes.
Herpes lesions are very painful and vesicular. For exact diagnosis you can share pictures or consult gynaecologist for local examination.
please get blood test for HIV, VDRL.
depending on diagnosis further treatment depend.
