Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have suddenly developed two lumps by my knuckle of my 3rd finger. no redness. moveable, but not squishy. I have had serious elbow, wrist, and knee pain. Advil only helps a little. Just stiff all the time. I'm 62, fit, active. I now have trouble using wrist for little things, i.e. using a screw driver/ opening caps, working. I work in ophthalmology and need these hands.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have abdominal bloating in a heart patient. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like dermoid cyst , bone cyst or ganglion. I would suggest you to apply warm compresses on lumps several times a day , do not massage lumps and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult general surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order x-ray or CT scan or hand , doctor may also take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with antiinflammatory at least for 5 days . Doctor may also recommend surgical removal of lumps under local anesthesia in case of severe infection or may simply drain the puss .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
