hello i smacked my shin into a metal grate about a month ago and it still has a very large swollen lump and is very tender and slightly brusied. should i be worried? i am also flying on a 30 hour flight in two weeks time should i be worried about this also? thank you

history of trauma to shin s/o of probably hematoma it should resolve its own with conservative management over 2-3 weeks depending upon size .
make sure there is no open wound as it has chance of getting infection .
