Suggest Treatment For Lung Cancer

hi my gran as lung cancer not really said what stage but she too old for chemo they have said and she is getting bnefit so im guessing they have only given her 6 months , scared of whats going to happen at the min she is losing weight and breathless sometimes fingers very bad and very clumsy but have offered her no treatement

Hi

Your grandmother most probably is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.
Aim of treatment at this stage is basic supportive care to improve quality of life.
Average survival time during this stage on an average is from 6 to 9 months.
I would advise u to arrange for a oxygen cyclinder in home so that in her last stages in case of acute respiratory distress oxygen can be given by face mask.
