Suggest Treatment For Lung Scarring

My name is raju and I was once infected by tuberclosis in 2013...I then took full six months regular medicine and I was cured. now on 2015 I was selected in united states diversity visa and I am in further processing for my visa interview. the medical examination would be taken by International organization of migration (IOM). would it affect my visa processing due to scars caused by tuberculosis in the past? since I am fully cured from tuberculosis is there any way to cure those scars and make my lungs normal as before? hope you understand my problem and give me some effective advice.

I welcome you at my virtual clinic.

I can well appreciate the sensitivity of the issue. IOM has a set criteria for the issuance of visa after careful screening of the patients. If you are not a carrier of Tuberculosis, and, you are not actively infected right now, there is no issue even if the scars are there. But if there is dormant TB that may be a medical concern and they are there to screen and save others from such cases.

You need not worry if you are not actively diseased right now and your tuberculin test is negative. For chest XRay they will ask you to inhale and keep holding the breath and they need almost 11,12 ribs exposure on Xray Chest. So do regular exercise on inhalation and exhalation and holding breath with as much air inside as you can after inspiration. Aerobics and Cardio exercises will also help for that.

Hope it helps you today. Need any help/answers regarding any medical concerns, feel free to contact me anytime.

Regards!
