Suggest Treatment For Lung Scars

Hi doctor gud day ,I have an old lung scar in my left lung it already heal my problem is I cannot work in abroad beacause of my lung scar ,.is there any medicine that I would take to remove a scar in my left lung?,,,thank you ,,hope soon you can reply ,,

hello

welcome to HCM,
i had gone through your chief complains and when i found patients with similar history, i was treating them with following treatment

Scar tissue formation in the lungs is termed as pulmonary fibrosis. Fibrosis has lots of meaning but here is scarring. Scarring is not a diseases but it is an abnormal healing of the damage tissue of the lungs.

1. Doctors choose first line of treatment as corticosteroid.
Corticosteroid such as Prednisolone is most effective drug in pulmonary fibrosis.

2. •     Immunosuppressant agents
Most effective drugs are cyclophosphamide and azathioprine

3. •     Surgical treatment
Lung transplantation – any patient with pulmonary fibrosis can refer for lung transplantation. It is well indicated in end stage fibrosis when all medical treatments were failed.

Above stated all treatments give symptomatic relief. No one can remove scar tissue from the lungs. Fibrosis can not be cured but we can prevent further progression of the diseases.
