Suggest Treatment For Lupus

I haveLupis and recently finished with 8 weeks of Harvoni I know there must be something out there to help with my Lupis. I have had kidney surgery for cancserious lesions and part of right kidney removed. I am very confused as to what to do. The side effects worry me more than the Lupis. Is there something at the Health store that could help me?

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Treatment consists of immunosuppressants. While there's no cure for lupus, current treatments focus on improving quality of life through controlling symptoms and minimizing flare-ups.

This begins with lifestyle modifications, including sun protection and diet. Further disease management includes medication such as anti-inflammatories and steroids.

Medications, Immunosuppressive drug and Steroid, Self-care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Monish De, Oncologist
