Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

In that condition, she needs immediate care. You can give her medication in food or drinks. That way she would get some medications and with medications, she would be in control. You can also take help of psychiatrist and put her on long acting antipsychotic drugs like risperidone or haloperidol. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

I think, she is in psychosis. In that case, she needs antipsychotic drugs. That would help her to come back into normal life. Better to consult a psychiatrist and start giving her treatment at home. You can add medicine in her food. With that, she would improve in few days. In case, you feel she needs in patient care, you can get her admitted. If you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks

hiiiiii

for manic episode there are two modalities

1st is acute control of symptoms and behavior
for this anti psychotic medicines like olanzapine , quitiapine has major role
it can be given through injection if symptoms are disturbing

2nd is to control hyper mood
require mood stabilizer
sod valproate is the choice if she is more irritable manic symptoms

dose is depend s upon severity and duration

consult psychiatric hospital and get admit if not able to manage at home

she will start responding within 2 or 3 week after proper treatment
thank u
