Suggest Treatment For Mass In Pulmonary Artery In Case Of Lung Cancer
my dad has stage 4 lung cancer, received chemo and was told after another scan, that is was almost gone, now after another scan and no more chemo given at this time, we are told that it has progressed and the mass is now on his pulmonary artery, can this be treated or should we expect the worse? he is scheduled to see his oncologist Tuesday

Your dad is having stage 4 lung cancer which has now progressed on first line chemotherapy.
I would suggest second line chemotherapy for him now.
Also u must do EGFR and ALK mutation test on biopsy sample.
If these mutation is positive then oral chemotherapy erlotinib and crizotinib will help to control tumour size.
