Suggest Treatment For Membranous Tonsillitis

I was diagnosed with membranous tonsilitis 2 years back. was admitted in the hospital for a week. I m now getting the same white-ish covering in my throat, accompanied by pain in the ear, difficulty in swallowing etc. I also had fever for the past few days. Is reoccurrence of membranous tonsilitis normal?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of Membranous tonsillitis 2 years ago, and now .
You have to do the following:
Get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon to get clinical evaluation and proper treatment with Antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicines till full recovery may be upto 3 weeks.
Also should be seen the primary focus.
Go for CT scan of the sinuses.
Throat swab
Blood sugar
Caries tooth.

All the primary causes should be investigated and treated if you want to avoid recurrence
