Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. A lot of individuals develop loss of memory and cognitive dysfunction following any stroke or ischaemic insult on brain and this is called as vascular dementia or multi-infarct dementia. He is on Eptoin, Frisium, Rosulip, Syndopa and Resalect. These medicines are used to prevent any seizures and to prevent stroke in future but these cant help much in improving memory. Medicines like Donepezil or Memantin etc can help in his symptoms of loss of memory. Try to get his BP checked regularly and prevent any future stroke. These medicines will help to slow down progression of dementia. Please visit a doctor for prescription of these drugs.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care.
