Suggest Treatment For Menorrhagia

Hi I am a 35 year old woman was taken to the ER last night because for the last 2 months I have bleeding and clotting blood I have only had 4 days in this time period when I have not been bleeding I also have these sharp pains right above my pelvic bone that seem to be getting worse and lasting longer (14 years ago I also had cervical cancer where they went in did a cone bioposy to remove the cancer) They gave me a papsmear last night and did blood work and said that all looked fine and diagnoised me with Menorrhagia not sure if this is really what is going on with me but any advice you can give me would be appreciated Thanks
