Suggest Treatment For Mild Headache And Neck Pain After Head Injury

I hit my head on the corner of an air conditioner outside yesterday. It is very tender and have had a minor headache all day. My neck was hurting as well, which I thought was due to hitting head so hard. I am wondering if I need to go to the doctor or if the headaches will subside. I haven t had any other symptoms really. Also, wondering how long before I can do exercise….I felt pretty yucky today.

Hi,

Noted your history of head hitting on air conditioner outside yesterday, has headache, neck pain, wants to know whether to go to a Doctor or headache will subside.
The hit which was sufficient enough to cause headache and neck pain indicates the severity hence I would advise you to consult a Doctor immediately for the following reasons:
Clinical check up for pupils, light reflexes and size.
Other parameters of head injury.
Examination of neck muscles and give an appropriate treatment for the symptoms.
CT scan of head if indicated.
Further management as per the findings.
