Hello,

If you are experiencing mild pain in your left hip, it is important to address it early to prevent any further damage. Here are some suggestions for treatment:
* Rest: Avoid putting too much pressure on your hip. Take some rest and avoid activities that cause pain.
* Physical therapy: Consult with a physical therapist to learn exercises to strengthen the hip muscles and improve flexibility.
* Hot and cold therapy: Applying a hot or cold compress to the affected area can help reduce inflammation and relieve pain.
* Pain relievers: Over-the-counter pain medications such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen may help to reduce pain and inflammation.
* Injection therapy: If the pain is severe, a corticosteroid injection may be recommended to relieve inflammation and pain.
* Maintain a healthy weight: Extra weight puts pressure on your hip joints, so it is important to maintain a healthy weight to reduce the risk of further damage.
* Proper lifting technique: If you are doing deadlifts, it is important to use the proper lifting technique to avoid putting too much pressure on your hip. Consider working with a personal trainer to ensure proper form. If the pain persists or worsens, please consult with a healthcare professional.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
