Suggest Treatment For Misalignment Of The Nose Due To An Injury

Hi,It s being a week today where I got a bang on my nose playing football, the next day I went to have it looked at in which the Doctor referred me to the ENT which am still awaiting my appointment in the hope its by the end of the week or earlier next week, I ve reason to believe I have some sort of fracture as its slightly misaligned and their is abit of play on my nose plus it feels more stuffier since it happened. I want to have this fixed as soon as because from the research I done they say between 7-10 days to realign should I be worrying? Thanks, XXXX

Hello,

It may be due to injury.

For further assessment you may require x ray sinuses after ENT consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require surgical intervention after ENT consultation.

Pinch nose for 10 mins in case of bleeding.
