Suggest Treatment For Missed Period And Cramps After Tubes Tied

I had the leep procedure and my tubes tied last year,Sept. I also was on the depo. I have not had a period yet and my stomach is starting to cramp, bad. My doctor wants to do a procedure that will open my cervix so I can have a period, but I really don't want one. Can I get back on the depo to never have a period, or/and was getting my tubes tied a waste of time?
