General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* X-ray heart enlargement can be due to secondary structural changes via long standing blood pressure with compensatory phenomenon.

However, the details of chamber size, diameter, valve functions, ejection fraction need to be co related with the findings described above to get more relevant guidelines.

In a nutshell, if the EKG and echo is normal, there is nothing to worry much apart from BP , body weight and cholesterol control with regular routine activities, avoidance of strenuous work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
