Suggest Treatment For Motion Sickness And Tingling Sensation In Scalp

After my hysterectomy almost 6 months ago I started having an odd motion sickness while in cars sometimes even if I drive. As well as almost heat flash where I get warm and tingly in my scalp and sick to my stomach and feel like I will pass out. it happened today while grocery shopping. I am not sure what is going on. I was not like this before. Not sure what to do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The tingling sensation in the scalp and heat flash is probably related to hysterectomy. Hysterectomy might cause hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms temporarily following surgery. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and specific treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
