Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had lifelong problems with motion sickness. Recently as my airline flight was descending, I started to vomit (stomach fluids only), then began to pass out. Voices and vision were receding. I vaguely heard someone ask if I wanted water. I could not answer them, and my hands began to move uncontrollably, the sorts of hand movement that one gets with seizures. I have no history of seizures. Could you please explain what might have been happening?
As a first line management you can try drugs like Avomine (Promethazine) for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist to look for any possible ear related problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
