Suggest Treatment For Mouth Ulcers Post A Septoplasty

I had Septoplasty one week ago. After the procedure, I have developed mouth and throat ulcers. Throat ulcers got improved with Solopher spray (Diqullanium chloride + Benzalkonium chloride) but mouth ulcers are still disturbing. I am already taking post surgery antibiotic and anti allergic tablets along with pain killer. Please advise something for these mouth ulcers.

Hi Dear,

welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of mouth ulcers post a septoplasty which seems to be due to immunocompromised immunity of body and could be due to deficiency of multivitamins. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start using antiseptic mouthwash and maintain proper oral hygiene. Avoid hot spicy sharp food substances and drink plenty of fluids. Apply topical steroids such as triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% 3- 4 times daily with help of cotton. Take nutritious diet rich in multivitamins. Use topical anesthetics as well. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit oral physician once and get complete examination done. Your symptoms will resolve in one week.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
