Suggest Treatment For Mucous Cyst
Hi! I think I have a mucous cyst in my bottom lip and it won t go away! Every Sunday it gets very swollen and then during the week it somehow gets popped or the swelling goes down and it s almost back to normal by Friday but then on Sunday it gets huge again and the whole process starts over again. It s been doing this for the last 6 weeks. I don t have health insurance at the moment so I haven t been able to see a doctor. It s not super painful but my teeth irritate it and make it very sensitive. Is surgery my only option??

in most of the cases it resolves by itself but in your case as it is reoccuring again and again so i would recommend you to consult hospital so that it can be visulized and treated accordingly. in the meanwhile take good care of your oral hygeine. take a warm glass of water and add a table spoon of salt and perform gargles (mouth wash) with it twice a day. it will give soothing effect but hospital opinion is must.
