Suggest Treatment For Multiple Carcinoid Tumors

What is the best medical facility in the U.S. to treat multiple carcinoid tumors. My friend has been told that she doesn t have cancer but she is being given radiation and chemo and can no longer work. She has tumors in lungs, eye, skull and spine. Where can she go for treatment? What kind of prognosis can she expect?

Radiation Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is very important to know the exact details of the tumor and the treatment she has received and also how she has responded to treatment.

Usually, with multiple tumors in the body, the prognosis is not good, however, in order to reply more precisely would like to know more details about the case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jatin Bhatia, Radiation Oncologist
