I have irregular periods,my gynic advised to take scan,the report says on both ovaries a multiple small immature follicles noted in both ovaries arranged at periphery, that measures on RO- 3.7*2.3cm, LO-4*2.6cm,no oblivious adnexal mass lesion,thyroid is normal,is related to pcod,what is the treatment is available plz tell me,what is the problem

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Polycystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS us a hormonal disturbance in the body which leads to irregular ovulation, irregular menstrual cycles and weight gain.
You should reduce your weight, do exercise and can be given oral contraceptive pills to regulate your periods.
