Suggest Treatment For Multiple Uterine Leiomyomata
Hi, My scan says there is a slightly bulky, non-gravid anterverted uterus measuring about ( 7.7 × 4.3 ×6.1)cm in size, containing multiple, small sized hypoechoic lesions, the largest of which is seen in the posterior myometruim measuring (1.2×0.7)cm. The endometrial echo measures(2.1)mm Both adnexae are grossly normal. There is no fluid collection in the pouch of Douglas. IMPRESSION: multiple uterine leiomyomata
Hi I think if you are having any periods problem or pain in abdomen then you will have to treat the fibroid. There are medicines which can lead to reduction in size of leiomyoma. But if there is no response to medical treatment you will have to undergo a hysterectomy if you have completed your family.
