Suggest Treatment For Muscle Pain And Coughs When Diagnosed With Bronchitis

Last week I was diagnosed with bronchitis and was given prednisone, an antibiotic and an inhaler. Feeling better but developed lots of sweating and what feels like muscle pain on my right side with coughing. Is this something or just part of getting over the bronchitis?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to cough due to bronchitis. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also recommend to use heat compresses for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
