Hello,

Since you have soreness and tenderness, the possibility of pulled muscle-related pain is more likely. So better to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Start calcium and vitamin D3 supplements because it can fasten healing.
2. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid heavy weight lifting and strenuous exercise.
3. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like ibuprofen and thiocolchicoside.
4. Sit with proper back support. Avoid sudden jerky movements of the chest.
5. Apply warm water pad on affected areas. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
