Suggest Treatment For Muscle Spasms And Pain In The Neck

Hello, I have a long history of back issues including herniated discs. I am experiencing muscle spasms on the right side radiating up from the sacrum to mid back. I now have chills all over and my neck just tightened up. Am now applying a heating pad, muscles have relaxed somewhat but low back, especially right side is very painful. I have a regular chiropractor but should I see someone else at this point? Thank you
