I am 66 and found out in June, 2015, that I have osteoporosis. I had 4 compressed vertebrae - L 1 in June, L 2, then L 4, then L 3, one by one in late July and August, with a vertebroplasty on L 1 in June, and another one on L 2, L 3, and L 4 in late August. I ve been told that my upper back muscles are not strong, and am interested in exercises that will help me strengthen those muscles without having more compressed vertebrae. Can someone help me? incidentally, I had a DEXA bone scan in February, 2015, and the report showed the scan was normal. How could that happen?
