Suggest Treatment For Muscle Tightness, Legs Pain And Difficulty In Movement

My mother is suffering from muscle tightness, legs pain and immovability. She is unable to walk without support and very difficult with support too. Vit d test showed deficiency and the count was 4. Can physiotherapy help her in moving. What are exercises suggested.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely from vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D should be maintained above 20 ng/ml. Taking vitamin D3 supplements along with calcium will be helpful for this. The usual dosage of vitamin D3 given is 1000IU per day or 8400IU weekly once. Calcium should be taken 1000 to 1500 mg per day. Physiotherapy along with muscle strengthening exercises will be helpful also.
