Suggest Treatment For Musical Ear Syndrome

what drugs may cause musical ear syndrome My 95 year old mother is hard of hearing and has started to hear music on a regular basis. She is on many medications for heart disease. Is there a list of meds that might cause auditory hallucinations. She does not hear voices, etc and is not crazy.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi thanks for your query.
I can understand your concern for your mother,
If i have to see a patient like her in my clinic i would suggest her to use hearing aids.Thatway she will be able to hear and the musical ear (tinnitus) will also be masked.
she can take ginkobiloba tabs 2-3 times a day for 2-3 mths.
Hope you are helped and feel free to ask further questions
