Suggest Treatment For Nasal Congestion, Pressure On The Forehead And Dry Cough

Hello. I have nasal congestion, pressure on forehead, and a hard, dry cough. I ve been drinking warm water with lemon and honey, using steam, and putting vicks on; but, I still have congestion and feel lousy and tired. I have been taking prozac for anxiety since august 2016 (and it has helped me tremendously). Is there a medication to help me rid this cold and cough that s safe with prozac? thank you for your help. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms are more suggestive of sinusitis. if your symptoms do not resolve in next two weeks, i would recommend that you visit your doctor and he will do the required tests to find out reason for your persistent symptoms and make a treatment plan accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saralkumar R. Desai, General & Family Physician
