Suggest Treatment For Nausea And AST Level Of 18
My ast and alt were 18 and 21 2 days ago... I am in the hospital and now after massive nausea and vomiting, have been on flagyl (they thought i had CDIFF but don t ) may have been viral infection or hep a ... now they want to take my galbladder .... so confused

Your AST and ALT values are perfectly normal and there is nothing abnormal to worry about.
As of now, you can take an antacids-antiemetic combination like pantoprazole /domperidone for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist you can consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
