After family doctor took my license away due to a medication allergy that caused me to have nausea, severe diarrhea and an episode of fainting in the privacy of my own home, I did not lose consciousness, have been forced by Penn Dot to see a cardiologist. I ve had severe anxiety for 10 weeks now undergoing several tests. I am afraid all this anxiety and depression over all of this is ruining my health. I ve done every test required of me and was even told this condition I experienced would not mean loss of license and that I would be an unsafe driver, however, no cardiologist will complete the Penn Dot form and sign it and return it to Penn Dot, for fear of losing their medical license. I have a whole list of allergies, mostly medications. My family dr. of 40 some years knew all this and never felt he would have to report me and this new dr. of only 5 years reported me, even after he insisted I have an EKG before I left his office. The EKG was normal. I don t understand why I ve had to endure all this pain and suffering and it has definitely affected my health. I never had anxiety or depression ever before. I have a clean, no incident driving report and I ve been driving for over 50 years. Can anyone help me?
