Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Headaches And Tiredness

I have not felt well for about 9 days. I feel nauseous, have a headache, tired and no energy. I am still able to eat. it is not bad nausea. But I don t have much of an appetite. I figure it is a virus so I have not gone to my dr. I know that you can t diagnose this, but just wondering if I should see my dr.

Hi,

If you have been experiencing nausea, headache, fatigue, and lack of energy for 9 days, it's recommended that you see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment. While it could be a virus, these symptoms may also be caused by a range of other underlying medical conditions that require medical attention.

Your doctor may conduct a physical exam and take a medical history to determine the cause of your symptoms. Depending on their findings, they may recommend further testing, such as blood tests or imaging studies, to make a diagnosis. In the meantime, here are some remedies you can follow at home to relieve your symptoms:
* Rest and stay hydrated: Make sure to get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids, such as water, herbal tea, or electrolyte solutions like Gatorade or Pedialyte.
* Eat small, frequent meals: Even if you don't have much of an appetite, try to eat small, frequent meals throughout the day. Stick to bland, easy-to-digest foods like toast, crackers, or clear broth.
* Take over-the-counter medication: Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen may help relieve your headache and body aches. Anti-nausea medication like Dramamine or Pepto-Bismol may also help alleviate your nausea.
* Avoid triggers: If certain foods or smells trigger your nausea, try to avoid them as much as possible.

Remember, if your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
