Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrea And Chills
Hi. 65 year old male with nausea/vomiting , diarreah, chills and low grade fever (100). Chicken soup broth for lunch, not keeping that down. Should he seek medical attention or take an OTC medication? Thanks anyway .... we will visit urgent care facility if symptoms do not improve

Hi, Thanks for the query I understand your concern. He seems to have Gastroenteritis / food poisoning He should seek Er if he is not digesting any thing. Iv infusion with other treatment would be his need.Along with the medicines advised, - He should be taking rest. - Sips of clean fresh cold water mixed with little sugar & pinch of salt ORT powder would help him. - Bland & light diet would be digested well. Thus he would be alright after 3-5 days. Thanks.
