My daughter has had various investigations done for nausea and change in bowel habit. No abdominal painTests included endoscopy, mri scan and ultrasound. Something seems to trigger these episodes. Tried various anti emetics . would special bloods tests possibly show problem?

Hi,

It looks like irritable bowel syndrome. Proper diet, exercise and hydration is a must. Kindly show it to a gynecologist. Sometimes, hormonal imbalance will also cause bowel disturbance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anusha Molugu, Anesthesiologist
