Suggest Treatment For Neck Pain

Started with my neck hurting, and has moved to my shoulder and down my arm. I have been in pain for 6 weeks. Went to a chiropractor and said I had burrs at C5 and C6, but offered no real solution. I do not want to take pain meds beyond ibuprophen. I have even tried cervical traction unit. It hurts most when I am driving or sitting, and sometimes get surges of pain under my arm pit. Can you help...i don't like meds..tku
