Suggest Treatment For Necrosis

My dad just had a wound revision and a bone biopsy was done. What should be the next course of treatment if the biopsy showed necrosis. Should further imaging be done to ensure that all that was affected was removed or either evaluate if it extends more. Should the surgeon stating I think I got it all suffice?

Hi.

It should suffice, and proper wound management and care should be conducted. Necrosis is basically tissue death, and is easily identifiable especially through the naked out, so it would have been quite easy to remove as well.

Let the surgeon go about wound care, antibiotic coverage and also help improvement blood circulation to the region by exercises, medication, physiotherapy and lifestyle changes.

Best wishes.
