Suggest Treatment For Nerve Pain In The Left Elbow Through The Finger

It s nerve pain that starts in the left elbow. Then I feel it running from the wrist, across the palm through the length of ring finger . The other fingers on the left hand are not affected, just the one finger. It feels more like nerve pain, not muscle, tendons, ligaments.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for providing the brief history of you.

A thorough neuromuscular assessment is advised.

As, you mentioned your symptoms, for me it appears more of the ulnar neuritis, where you are facing the pain. Undergoing physical therapy like - TENS therapy will reduce your pain. Also, post which strengthening of the triceps muscle is guided for better recovery,

In my clinical practice i see cases with similar complaints, and they respond well to physical therapy in 2-3 weeks of time.

Regards
