Dear thanks for the question. Non displaced fracture of fibula is a common fracture after ankle injury even if injury was not severe. You will require a cast (pop) for two to three weeks. Duration will depend on progress in healing, to be observed by x ray. You can remain partially mobile too. Nowadays instead of hard (pop) cast, some orthopaedicians are applying soft cast only. This will depend on degree of fracture. Discuss this with your doctor. Till the time you visit orthopedic expert, apply crepe bandages to affected part, take rest, take painkillers if you have pain, eat healthy food. Take care in future.
