Suggest Treatment For Nose Bleeding
Hello Doctor,
I am WAHEED from South Africa. I am 28 years old man. 2 days before on Friday, I happens to nosebleed. It was the first time nosebleed in my life. I went to a pharmacy immediately, but they told me that there is no medicine for this problem. So I started cool food and liquids same day. However I again happened to me 2 times on Saturday and 1 time today. This time nosebleed was not like the first time just 5 6 drops of blood came out.
But I want to know, is there any permanent remedy for this problem. One of my friend told me that vitamin K can help me in this matter. But I want a professional suggestion before taking vitamin capsules.

The common cause for nose bleed is trauma...
First cause has to be ruled out and treated accordingly...
For that rhinoscopy nose examination should be done and investigation done with CBC esp platelet count and Prothrombin time estimation
When nose bleed occurs pinch nose with thumb and index finger to stop bleeding
If Rhinitis is the cause than treated by fluticasone nasal spray...
If bleeding more and due to clotting system problem or platelet problem than trenexemic acid and vitamin E can be Prescribed
So consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination and than accordingly get your prescription
