Suggest Treatment For Nose Cellulitis

Him I am on my 3rd day of argmentin, for nose cellulitis, and I am feeling worse than before. My nose is more swollen and painful, and the inside wall of my nostril is very swollen, it cold be developing pus? Also, my upper lip where it's right under my nostril is harden, could the infection be spreading? Is this normal for augmenting treatment or am I not responding to the drug? Should I finish the 5 day treatment first or See the doc right away?

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms, you are probably suffering from Vestibulitis(Inflammation of the outer nasal skin of nostril).It is caused due to bacterial infection.Finger prick injury might be the reason.

You need to start Intravenous Antibiotics as you are not getting relief with Oral Antibiotic Augmentin.

So it would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist doctor.
