Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Pain In The Index Finger

My right index finger, at the tip gets cold, numb, blue and is painful, very frequently, and when I warm it up it is really painful, it is a bad ache down to the bone or a burning like sensation to the tip or my finger. My finger only bothers me when I am up and moving around, no problems at night, does not effect my sleep or anything but once I get up and start moving around, like putting on my make up and fixing my hair the symptoms start again. When I am at work it is worse. I use the computer a lot at work and it is very bothersome, I have to stop several times a day and massage or warm my hand. I thought maybe it was carpal tunnel syndrome, but I have never heard anyone complain of the just the index finger of the hand being effected

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is just one finger being affected then it could be some local lesion and it has to be investigated and treated accordingly it could be some inflammatory condition could be infection and it can be managed with antibiotic and NSAID on tentative basis, some time may requires some investigation like Doppler study and routine blood test, hope this information helps.
