I have been taking Bystolic for several years now. About 4 years ago I developed peripheral neuropathy primarily in my feet. Sometimes the pain is almost unbearable and includes numbness, pins and needles feeling, compression feeling as if a shoe is tied extremely tight, and the feeling of beginning stages of frostbite. I have had about every test available done on me by multiple doctors including general practitioners, neurologists, and even a toxicologist, all to no avail. I only take one prescription drug daily and it is the Bystolic. I occasionally take Roprinole for RLS but only as needed. Have also had all the other blood work tests done as well including vitamin b screenings, thyroid tests, and multiple diabetes tests. I have been prescribed a low dose of Tramadol that I take twice daily to help cope with the pain. Would there be any merit to trying another BP Med for my hypertension? The Bystolic has definitely worked best.
