Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Ankle After Toe Amputation

my dad is diabetic and has had one little toe removed from his right foot. He has just come out hospital two days ago after having problems with the little toe on his left. They didn t need to amputate from the left foot and he has had no related pain since then. He has had his vascular appointment this morning at 11:30 am, Western Australian standard time (AWST). It is now 6:00pm AWST, he says he can t feel anything from his ankles through his feet. Strangley enough though, he can feel in his toes without any problem. He was just having a nap, I am wondering whether to take him back into emergency in the city, or whether it was just the way he was sleeping, with his legs on top of each other?

HI
Well come to HCM
With history of diabetes and amputation of toe such numbness is common, may due to uncontrolled glucose level and this need to be corrected with the tight rule, the symptom would come around soon as soon as the glucose level comes in control, this is not because of he leg position he takes while sleeping, hope this helps.
