Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Arms After Bitten On It

my girlfriend bit my arm really hard on saturday night. Its now tueday and i've noticed the area on my arm is numb. The bite didnt break the skin, and im in no pain now, i can just noticably tell when i run my finger down my arm that the skin is numb. is this likely permanent nerve damage?
