General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your health issues submitted in your query.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
Your current health issues seem to be related to-
a-Lower leg numbness from accompanied nerve damage/shearing strain
b-Huge black/blue areas are from the subcutaneous blood clotting in post-op period and would resolve in 3-6 weeks time.
This is because of the bleeding from the perforators which are stiped and may bleed by oozing.

This is caused by post-striping of veins in the legs and due to shearing strain to sural nerve which passes along the long saphenous vein.

Do's-
Continue with Rest and Elevation with Compression hose.
Add-Tab Motrin 400 mg x 2/3 times a day x 1 week
Tab Chymoral forte- 1 x 2/3 times a day x 1 week
Tab Vit B12 + Folic Acid- 1 x 1 to 2 times a dayx 10 days
Continue with warfarrin to control the blood clotting.
This would reduce inflammation and the numbness in leg areas from accompanied sural neuritis.
Post-operative Color doppler if need be.

Constant followup with Vascular and General Surgeon team-for long term would give you long remissions in time to come, which would depend on meticulous followup treatment of your health concerns.

Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
For early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
