Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Arms And Hands

I have been having numbness in left arm and hand the last two days, especially after I smoke. A year ago I was told I need surgery on my neck because of two vertibrae that are tipped towards each other, this causes me pain at night and same symptoms of pain in left arm and hand tngles or goes numb. Heart disease does run in my family. I should probably make a Dr. appointment huh?
