Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Foot Post A Lumbar Laminectomy

I am 2 weeks post Lumbar Laminectomy L3,4,5 just had my 2 week post op appointment with my surgeon, all seemed to be healing well, I have been taking 2 short walks daily as instructed, today I am having numbness in my right foot first three toes, and my rt hip is painful, just wondering if my nerves are starting to improve or should I be concerned, never had any back pain, had the surgery or severe hip and numbness shooting down both legs

Hi,

Well, these are signs of certain neuropathic issues and this is most commonly seen in some metabolic disorders such as diabetes,of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy, accounting for about 30% of cases.

In diabetic neuropathy, tingling and other symptoms often first develop in both feet and go up the legs, followed by tingling and other symptoms that affect both hands and go up the arms.
